Finding referrals

I was considering some words I read lately in a blog about PTC sites: "Your investment is only your DILIGENCE, PATIENCE and TIME ". Obviously, the author was more experienced than me, and I'm grateful for his/her suggestion. I will have to remember that I should stay focused to achieve my goal. I should also remember that for each one who starts this activity, at the beginning the earnings are slow. Really slow …

Therefore, I should keep in mind that first and foremost I have to recruit more referrals. I have no relatives or friends that can be interested in doing this. I'm not active in social networks. So, I am studying the experiences of other bloggers and users of PTC.
And here is a precious hint I found out: join Traffic Swarm! - you can expose your websites to lots of visitors!

TrafficSwarm is free to join. After you have signed up, simply log-in to the Traffic Swarm member's area and click where it says "Add a New Site Address". Then simply enter your referral link as your URL.

In the Title box you can enter "Get Paid to click" or any other headline you like and in the Description box you can include a benefit of your program (for example: Join xxx and earn cash) then select 3 targeting categories, enter a big number for max credits and click "Update".

If you have a favorite website, personal homepage, or several referral links from other paid e-mails programs you can also add them to your Traffic Swarm account and send lots of visitors to them as well.

Then, to earn credits that will allow you to pay for this, simply go to the "Startpage" and click on the links you will find, as many times as you can to and start sending hundreds of people to visit your referral links. The Startpage will display several links - after you have visited each of you just click "Next" at the top, to see another set of links you can visit and earn more Traffic Swarm credits.

Most Trusted PTC site

This blog includes some explanations and tips on how the industry of PTC/PTSU works. This could encourage persons who don't know this industry to find a good opportunity to make some extra money or even a completely new earning activity. As soon as possible, I will also include a list of trusted PTC/PTSU sites, that will be regularly updated.

Are you unemployed? retired? need some extra money? This blog could help!

Overview
PTC (paid-to-click) and PTSU (paid-to-sign-up) sites are companies that pay you for viewing other websites. They are paid for ads showing the pages of their sponsors, so they pay a percentage of their earnings to their members. You can become a member by registering (or joining). Most of them also give their members a percentage of the latter referrals' earnings. A referral is a person who joins these websites under one of their active members (this means that when registering such referral uses the link provided by the member who invited him/her to join, thus entering their downline). Sometimes you may also rent referrals from the websites.

Joining PTC/PTSU sites is one of the easiest ways to earn money online. This requires no particular skill, registering is free and thereafter all you have to do is click a few ads, sign up to other websites, read a few emails or complete surveys.

When your account balance reaches the minimum payout value, you can request a payment that is usually made to a Paypal or AlertPay account, so you will have to create one, if you don't have it already. Staying active in a number of these programs enables to earn a steady online income.

However, due to the boom in PTC industry, there are also scam sites (a scam is a site that doesn't pay members). A lot of active members maintain blogs, newsletters and websites to keep other potential or active users informed about good and bad news.

As a general rule, you should never join a site that has no Forum, that promises too high payments (i.e. $1 per click), or is included in one of the scam lists.

Don't use the same password in every site you join - take precaution!

Avoid to upgrade or rent referrals from a site if you don't know the site's pattern. Ignore any offers or discount until you make a little research about them. This way you can save your hard earned money!

Take your time to read their TOS (Terms of service), whois, payment proofs & forum. Members will post comments, questions or complaints in the forum. This should give a clear picture of the site's current status.

Here is a useful list of links to blogs and website that helped me to understand this industry.
